Thread: Please review my site

A quick review just try to update the logo, it is not properly viewable some blur is there.

You should change the color of the pages...uses some light colors.also try to use a header of good design.it attracts the viewer.

Here are some first impressions -
Change the background colour, it is too glaring. You want a background colour that stays in the background. It is hard to read the text of your website because the background is shouting "look at me!"
Your scrolling text is occuring on the right hand side of the page. Scrolling text is usually used for text that is important or an update that you want viewers to notice. By putting it to the far right hand side, it is reduced in importance and potentially ignored. The other problem is some people's resolution may not allow them to see the scrolling text at all. It may be a browser compatibility issue rather than intent. So just in case it is that, I am using IE8 with WIN7.
Instead of presenting your links like this - "PA Dept. of Environmental Protection: http://www.depweb.state.pa.us/energy/cwp/view.asp?a=1370&Q=494917 ", consider making the words "PA Dept. of Environmental Protection" the link instead.
Maybe let the platinum sponsors put up their logos on your site. Besides giving your site more credibility, it will also increase the sponsors visibility from their sponsorship, something that they will appreciate.
For a very basic website, the site seems to load slowly. Maybe use smaller resolution pictures?
Use the same text formats throughout your pages. For example on the "Hot Topics" page, the titles for point 4, 6, 7 and 8 uses different formatting than the titles for point 1, 2, 3 and 5.

Hi, I think you should firstly change the yellow color it's very bright. Try something soft to eyes. And try rearranging design of the side bar. It needs to be more arranged you cannot leave it free. That was what I believed. I am sorry if I hurt you.

The background color is very eye catching. Try something different. One will not able to concentrate on the content. And try something for design make it more organised.

My first impression is that the yellow color is not proper. And the pictures are not clear enough
