how can you say that your hosting is reliable?

A basic component of an internet business is webhosting, you can never have a website if you don't have a hosting partner. My question is how can you say that your hosting company is a reliable one?

For me i usually look at the reviews and how reliable is there customer service department, i look into their response time in email & a live chat support is a big plus for me. How about you?

I don't know if I would go as far as to determine reliability before actually trying out the service, but I read the webhostingtalk forums to determine which webhosts I would like to try out, giving myself the highest probability of ultimately finding a reliable host, and then from there I figure out the rest through experience.

Before you choose hosting you have to check with these
--Reliability and speed of access
--Data Transfer (Traffic/Bandwidth)
--Disk space
--Multiple Domain Hosting and Subdomains
--Server
--Price
--Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Payment Plans
and when the above things satisfy your requirement then you can get hosting from them and if you get all the services specified by the provider in a package with the affordable cost they offered then you can relay on the provider..i ve hosted my domain with XnYnZ and hosted my domain..the 24/7 customer support service is good and satisfactory..there are two different OS and three different plans of that you can select the one which suits for you and there are languages like asp.net,ruby,rails etc also you can choose the type of language you use for you...
