Default What is the easiest web design software?

I don't have experience in web design, but I want to learn to build professional web pages. I know some html, but not much. Is there a cheap, easy to use and professional web design software that I could use easily without paying a lot? Am I asking for too much? Thank you!

Adobe Dreamweaver is a web development application. Recent versions have incorporated support for web technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, and various server-side scripting languages and frameworks including ASP, ColdFusion, and PHP.

Its a good idea to learn the tags before using wed design software. Alot of web design software can add completely unnecessary tags and nonbreaking spaces.

I like Dreamweaver, but a very simple to learn and use software is WebPageMaker. It is basically drag and drop. Play around with one of the sample websites to learn the ropes and within a few minutes you will be designing your own website. It also gives you the ability to put code for functions that is not built into the software.

i have found Dreamweaver as best for designing. but as you said you dont know much about html, you can try mircosoft frontpage with which its easy to design a website with some pre installed templates.
i dont know how much money you can afford , but you can try XSitePro web designing tool, its really easy as well as it has inbuild SEO checking feature. you can download the free demo of the software too.
