    Default Software updating of a S60 phone.







    I have internet connection in my phone. It often shows me, that SOFTWARE UPDATE IS AVAILABLE. Now my question is, is this update is for the operating system of my phone or for any particular application. If this is a Operating System update, then please let me know, that dose installation of the update of operating system causes any kind of data losing? Like contacts, messages, applications etc...

    no it never causes your data to be lost its just an update by Symbian OS.. to provide you with more applications and helping.
