Ultimately twitter is good traffic source but we need to be careful in getting more followers and also while we tweet..

yes twitter is good way to boost traffic to your site.
i used it 1 year back,but now i use other methods.

I have a 360 followers and my home page pr is 3 .So it is really usefull for me .Whatever I tweet in twitter google caches it very quickly .

how is twitter related to google? what is the term "pr"? do u mean twitter texts are visible in google search? how is that possible?

I think that twitter is a great tool for website promotion. Many of my friends use twitter to promote their sites. I also want to have a try. I think it may work well.

We should while promoting in twitter. Some affiliate programs may not like the idea at all and they may ban us for ever.
