Meta keywords - a simple SEO step

I heard about meta keywords which can be use for search engine optimization as a simple step to get the traffic. Last night i give time on net and search about it that how its work? and which HTML coding can be used? Is any one know about it?

Meta keywords are the keywords placed in the opening and closing of HEAD tags. These tags allows you to put some additional text for a crawler-based search engines. This works with some some only crawler engines, as major engines now ignoring these tags.
Meta tag sometimes helps you if you think that keyword, which you put in head tag (<head></head>) is important for the page. If the keyword you have placed in the tag is not used in the page(body), then placing that never helps you to improve your page rank.

meta keywords are still useful as an SEO perspective.
just enter your website in google keyword tool and you will find lots of keywords suggestions. Add these keywords( only related to page topoic) separated by comma as a meta tag in your pages.

You can also use google webmaster tool to optimized your site ,this methods actually already well known this day,it's just simple to seo you site naturally
