Email trackig
How would one go about tracking an email with a 1x1 transparent gif. I need to track email opens and not really the clicks. Any idea where i can get the script and how it can be acheived?
This makes an extra full HTTP request to get the file, which takes up both network and web server resources. Basically, in the HTML body of your email, there will be an <img> tag that would look like this :
<img src="http://www.yoursite.com/tracker.php?id=123456" alt="" />
