Indian Paypal Account Recent Changes with many issues! Latest Updates!!

Hi,

We are hearing many places regarding this Indian paypal accounts issues.

Here the latest changes and updates from paypal:

1. They removed personal payment options from all indian paypal accounts. So, we need to pay others either service/other, goods options but make sure to keep subject and note while paying, with this we can normally purchase the things.

2. Don't accept Personal payments from your clients or buyers, they are reversing these payments. So, ask them to send the money as for service/goods but subject and note would be fine.

3. Withdrawn money to bank accounts was delayed and today they are reversing these money to paypal account till they solved the issue..

In the meantime, you will have the ability to spend your balance to purchase goods or services if you choose.

Last year feb. also delayed the payments but at that they didn't reversed, this time got the money back but as per todays rupee value..lost few bucks..

Here is another update:

As we are aware of withdrawl problem, now you can get the money by cheque from paypal, they will return this processing fees $5 later to your account..

Is it pay pal service valid in sri lanka ? Also I have problem to active my account. They need credit card to active paypal account. Are there any method to active that account without using CC ?

Yes, Paypal is valid in Srilanka too..but with many restrictions and you need to validate your account with CC or you can also try with VCC (Virtual Credit Card)

Paypal allow srilankans Accounts, of course we can validate our account with Credit/Debit cards as well. but problem is Paypal does'nt support Withdraw or accept anyone payment via paypal. this is the major problem

Still withdrawing to indian accounts and personal payments not yet solved. For personal payments options they are telling that it will take few months to resolve.

But for direct withdraw to bank accounts hope so it will take some more days to get the things right on track meanwhile we can withdraw funds either to our card or by check..

I will update the things if any announcements from the paypal..

Here is some intresting new for all the Indian people . From march 3rd u can withdraw to the bank accounts.But with the latest updated's every one will be in some loss eeven for personal accounts they are charging high fee

There is lot of confusion with these purpose codes, anyway we need to wait and see what code we have to use for mixed services..

Finally they solved all the problems except this personal payments option. Just they are limiting some personal accounts and asking reasons for the payments received earlier in the personal option.

Now they are asking for PAN card number too.

Many of us safely withdrawn the funds to our bank accounts, this is good news for us after a long time.

I will update again if any news is there.

Glad to hear this news, however still some of my indians VA's asking to pay their payments as a "goods" . from today i can send as a "service" fee mode.. rgt?
