    Default Is e-gold really gone ?







    I hear from many online users that the Payment processor e-gold is gone ? One time it used to be second rated payment processor apart from paypal, suddenly disappearing ? How ? What happened actually ? Do any one have idea ?

    oh god, did it really go? I had 0.5 dollars in that account. I will be sad to know that. I will search and look wait. hey its still ther e-gold... Internet payments, 100% backed by gold who told u its gone? thank god

    they have just become unpopular i think. not many websites are seen to support it. alertpay is more common now. second to paypal. though still lot less common. anyhow .. i don't have an e-gold account. i wish i could have paypal :S

    It has not disappeared I believe but became less popular. Many website use e-gold still. They have some strict rules and regulations.

    I think it isn't completely gone but because of lawsuit problem the proprietors were indicted for money laundering violations then e-gold experienced a sudden drop in popularity at the same time who would want to use e-gold now with all this criticism as well as you are no longer sure if its safe to use at or your money would still be safe after the proprietors were sentenced for money laundering violations ?.

    I think e-gold will come back strongly after some time. The problem with e-gold is that it has strict rules at every step including at the access level.

    there are allot of critics when you are on top.. so dont be easy to believe them its just a matter of questioning the W's

    It appears so. Many ptcs also have stopped their payments through e-gold. It was functioning very nicely in the past. What happened in the middle?
