my site has been on google for about a month and it that time i have managed to get about 10 backlinks ranging from pr1 to pr7. So why do i still have pr 0???? is there some sort of quarterly update of pr if so does anyone know when the next one is due?

Also i have heard a lot of people say worry about serps instead of pr. well i thought that your serps was related to your pr??

And could somebody please tell me if this is right ::

I should be targeting less competitive keywords at the moment but as my pr increases I should target the more competitve keywords because when i have a pretty high pr i will stand a chance of competing. Is this correct?
