how are you going to sell your ebooks.. and how long it would take to be sold and what are the things you will do to promote this books?

I always thought that selling of e-books is difficult. You can be successful once you make a good beginning. There is nothing like selling your own e-book.

Lets say a person is selling an ebook for around $7-$10 on ebay...how many people would buy the ebook, and how much money would he/she expect to make?
