    Default When should we upgrade?

If we start a small business with the help of a free hosting, it is better we upgrade as quickly as possible since upgrading is the only solution for our business to be safe.

well, if you have hosted for free, it doesnt mean you need to upgrade with them only.
if you satisfy with the service they provide ( the hosting ), then only you should upgrade to paid account.

It is difficult to convince free hosting providers about the adsense programs. They might ask us to upgrade so that their advertisements will be removed and our own ads can be displayed. May be we can upgrade around that time.

It depends on your current needs. If you think that you must be needing a higher space and bandwidth, then it is time to upgrade. In most cases, it won't happen immediately not unless you get so lucky with your online business.

Yes, that's when I would upgrade. When you have sufficient traffic to warrant paying a monthly hosting cost and want to monetize your traffic with Adsense, then you would need to upgrade. However, there are a few free hosting sites that don't force ads on your free site and will let you host your own adsense ads without upgrading. I used getfreehosting, and you can find them on google by entering those words. I believe it's a co.uk site. I can't remember now. They are VERY reliable. I would recommend to anyone. No need to upgrade with them, very good service, lots of space, no ads, put up your own ads. And, a good script installer for wordpress too.
