Thread: Co.cc - Another good free hosting site

Thanks sid, do you have any site hosted at co.cc?

yes i host saadcompany.com this is not in my use now, i am thinking to buy new domain for my company

I tend not to go for free domains, I prefer to have a paid domain if anything. But what I will say is if you are considering getting a free domain then .co.cc would be my most recommended.

Saying that though, I have a blogspot blog which is a free domain.

blogspot blog is a free domain? how can u say that? u still get <sitename>.blogspot.com
how is that free? it is a subdomain, right? please tell me

.co.cc is always free domain.
i got one 1 year ago ,i learned to develop sites from such domain only

What about their service? Is it good and satisfactory? Free domains have sometimes a poor service.

I think they do not provide hosting, they provide free sub domains.I can say they are pretty reliable,but co.cc domains are not professional.

co.cc helped me to have a domain (subdomain actually) name for free. and i learned the basic of domain handling and how to host domain at free hosting. you can even host co.cc at google's blogger.com for free.
if you are serious about your website, better to buy a real domain like .com/.net/.org etc..

You are absolutely right, If you are using a free domain service, its really hard to optimize for SEO, Until you have Really good, actually best and real content, even .blogspot is hard to optimize after a certain level, Better get a Domain instead of a sub domain, they are really cheap. $6-$8 for a domain is nothing.
