As tittle says it all so can any one share what is the most effective and the best way to drag traffic on your forum except social networking. I am asking about search engine traffic... Any suggestions?

I agree with regan25, content is KING you can spend 1 million dollars on advertising and if your forum has low quality content then no one is going to stay. Unfortunately lots of quality content comes with getting a lot of members, its a vicious cycle!
