What do you think is the best traffic for a forum in a day? I think anywhere between 3000 and 4000 quality visitors from across the globe is a good traffic for any given day.

Depends in the traffic is targeted or notAre they active members interested in your community/niche? Well then I'd say even 500+ is a great number, because it will keep growing from there.

I agree 3000 to 4000 is too much but if you get such traffic that means you have a great forum. 500 traffic each day will probably do it. At least 50% of it is a member of that forum. Advertising might be a great idea to get income from it.
