Paying for SEO/Traffic

What are your views on paying someone to take care of your SEO to get traffic pointed towards your forum?

Personally, I think it is a really good idea to do. I am not a "guru" when it comes to SEO, so I much prefer to pay someone who is more than capable to get me results.

i think paying some money to anyone for seo is waste of money , we can do that better , yes we can give some difficult work like written article like this , but building back links is easy

I do fully understand what you mean, but it seems to me that you may already deal with this type of work. From a beginners point of view when it comes to SEO - I would say it is much better to have someone else do it, someone who knows what they are doing.

When it comes to SEO, it depends on what you know. If you don't know SEO techniques, then you should learn. If you are not a tech guy, you will have to hand it over to some tech people. THere is no other choice.

If you take your website as a main business source to earn money then you need to plan accordingly. It always better to outsource the SEO activities to get more time to concentrate on other things, but we need to plan what seo activities have to be done to get more fruitful results..

What is the cost of buying services of seo? I am planning to do a website and i want to know what are the seo things. and can i do seo myself?

If you have knowledge about SEO and plenty of time then you can itself do it by yourself..there are different price bands for different seo services directory submissions, article submissions, blog commenting, link building etc.,

wow i like this forum so much, i didn't know what seo was all about. i thought, just writing an article in a specific way was called 'seo' .
lol anyway, silly me

so can somebody also please tell me how to know who to trust with doing seo for us. what if we pay and the other person doesn't do the proper things for 'seo' ? are there any reliable cheap sources for seo ? how much do they take usually ? (money )

In my point of view,purchasing some SEO services from some specialist,is not a bad idea.I think a professional SEO person can provide u better services rather than u.If u r a professional SEO,then u can do it urself,but if u r not then u must contact a Professional.
