How to sell e-books?

Can we discuss the various methods of selling e-books? How do they sell well? What should be the marketing techniques that should be employed to sell e-books? I think e-book selling is very profitable.

You can sell your e books easily by just creating a thread on the forum in the topic buy, sell or trade.
So, that many people will read it and some of them will buy it.
It will help you to sell your Ebooks at greater price and also quite easily.

Thanks for the information. Earlier I thought that selling e-books is a very tough job. Marketing is involved even here.

Yes, posting a thread to sell on any good forum will help you get your ebook sold. It is easy and time saving then other affiliate marketing things.

What is the advertising cost like in average? Say if the e-book is priced at $25 then it would be fine if for one sale we spend $10. Not bad though.

Sell in eBay is a good way. But don't do this if you are not US.

If you have your own ebook than you have a unique product offering.

A great way to sell your ebook is to download it to CD format and sell it on online auctions like Ebay.

All you do is burn copies on to CD's, print labels, and put them in some jewel cases.

You can make each CD for under $2 and sell them for whatever you think that they are worth. Any unique ebook would be worth anywhere from $5 to $99 if it has some solid information to offer.

Your advertising is covered within your listing fees and the exposure is enormous on the big auction sites. Just relist your auction for ongoing sales and a steady source of cash.

It's not easy to make sales or big profit from it. It takes some work just like everything else, you need to find a good niche or product, something with not a LOT of competition, but still interest. You need to know how to advertise it and make people want it. There's probably lots of other things out there that are a lot easier to do, to be honest. But if you know how to do it and can do it right, go ahead, you might make some good money.
