Sounds like a really good deal. But with all the competition GoDaddy has had to lower its hosting and domain prices. Did you use a coupon when signing up? I always use free hosting though, because it's well.. A lot cheaper, its free![]()
I buy domain from godaddy and use it in my own hosting account, I use a hosting account which cost 3$ per month . Unlimited space and 200 GB bandwidth, its not bad for me.

godaddy is a good web hosting service. Its 24x7 email and chat support is deemed to be good.
I was using godaddy for hosting until I saw their awful advertising campaign. Then I moved to network solutions. They have pricing pretty close to godaddy and they seem to have better customer support.
You can buy a domain name here http://www.xnynz.com/ and also get the hosting, domain name register, domain appraisal, online file folder, ssl certificate etc...
Decide which domain name will be your main one that you will use for your website. Others you might have purchased could include common misspellings of your domain name, or could include alternate keywords you wanted to utilize.
We use godaddy, there is a real person there to talk to when you need support, no support tickets to go through

I don't know if the op is getting $3/month worth of hosting at Godaddy, but either way, I wouldn't recommend buying both your domain name and hosting from the same company to anyone. If you do this, I can almost guarantee you that there's a certain quality of service that you're missing out on.
Get your domain names from a company that focuses primarily on domain registration.
Get your hosting from a company that focuses primarily on webhosting.
Recommendations (from personal experience):
Domain registration: Namecheap/Godaddy
Shared Hosting: HostGator
