Obviously... A blog must have comment. Without any comment people may not get satisfaction of what they are visiting and what they are taking from the blog. To make the people satisfy comment is an essential element.

Yes i think blogs must have the option to post comments however admins can block live links or they make them no follow so this will help to avoid spamming....

Impossible. Comments are the key of a blog to drag traffic. And without traffic, blog is meaningless. So without comment, a blog will never survive...

Sure they do, if you have comments, means people are really reading you're blog, you gotta let people express their opinions and beliefs.
