    Default Active Server Page

ASP is a powerful tool for making dynamic and interactive Web pages. An ASP file can contain text, HTML tags and scripts. Scripts in an ASP file are executed on the server.

ASP is a powerful tool, but the problem with classic asp is the server controls are to be manually placed by writing tags, and it uses vb script. ASP.net is advanced than classic asp which supports event driven programming, which asp is lacking.

Asp.net is really great. In asp.net readymade server controls and its properties are very helpful. Asp.net is easy for website designing. In that validation controls that are also useful for websites.
